Clarify Scope
After receiving the audit agenda, if an audit topic is not clear or does not seem relevant, contact the auditor to clarify the scope of the audit. The auditor may have outdated information about the services or product being provided.
The auditor will appreciate your clarification of the scope because they will need to discuss the scope again with the sponsor(s). It is very important for all parties (sponsor, vendor, and auditor) to agree on the scope to ensure a successful audit for all.
